Working with a true blue Australian Icon

By August 26, 2008 March 23rd, 2017 Latest News

We’re very proud to announce that we’ll be working with an icon of the Australian outback – The Royal Flying Doctors Service (RFDS). The RDFS is the first, largest and most comprehensive aeromedical organisation in the world and is a not-for-profit charitable Service providing aeromedical emergency and primary health care services together with communication and education assistance to people who live, work and travel in regional and remote Australia.

The Western Australian headquarters are undergoing a significant facilities upgrade and the architects have created an impressive area in the entry for an environmental graphic installation. The graphic wall commences in the main reception area and through to the main entry. It is approximately 7 metres long by 3 metres high.

Our concept is to create an abstract interpretive representation of key aircraft used throughout the RFDS’s 80 year history.

Since 1928 the Service has grown into one of the most respected organisations in the world. Covering an area equivalent in size to Western Europe, it operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

We’ve included a video that highlights the Flying Doctor’s vital work in the Australian outback.
