Challenge

Tasked with developing an industry first press brake comparison and buying tool.
Our client wanted to ‘change the game’ by empowering purchasers to be able to make an informed purchasing decision.
This tool would enable purchasers to easily select and compare press brakes from a variety of manufacturers based upon user selectable specifications / technologies.

Response

We worked in close collaboration with our client over a period of almost a year, from planning, wireframes, proof-of-concept working prototypes to full population and launch.
The solution needed to showcase 6 key Lazer Safe technologies, browsable through over 47 products in a showroom, from 18 different partners across 3 partnership tiers.
Visitors needed to be able to intuitively and quickly source and comprehensively compare hundreds of product models. We developed a Press Brake Finder tool that enabled visitors to:
  • Filter models by 15 different parameters
  • Compare the selected models’ detail against each other
  • Save models as favourites and generate a printable PDF.

And to boot, translated into 3 languages – English, German and Italian, with more to follow.

Result

We delivered an intuitive Press Brake Finder tool which enables visitors to easily search from over 600 models, refine their machine specification, compare models and then make a direct enquiry to source and purchase their next press brake.

Visitors can learn more about each manufacturer and the latest press brake models on offer including image and video galleries, plus all the latest news and events. As well as learn more about industry leading technologies and how they can improve machine productivity, performance, safety, speed and efficiency.
