Kings Park and Botanic Garden is visited by millions of people each year – our work ensures they don’t get lost!

With its remarkable expanses of unique bushland, tranquil parkland and botanic garden, the Park is the most popular visitor destination in Western Australia. The total area of the Park is 406 hectares (roughly 1,000 acres) and is located adjacent to the Swan River and approximately 1.5 km from the Central Business District of Perth.

We have been providing our professional services to Kings Park since 2002. In addition to our print and marketing collateral work, we have also been responsible for implementing and managing an integrated suite of wayfinding, directional, event and authority signage throughout the park.

We have developed internal processes to effectively manage each signage project from briefing, budgeting and artwork approval through to production and installation.

Managing and implementing a brand across such a large asset inventory is a massive undertaking that also required the development of a comprehensive style guide to ensure that all stakeholders and suppliers apply the brand in a consistent manner.

In addition to the wayfinding signage, Axiom also developed an extensive collection of interpretive signs for King’s Park.
