Perth based Renewable Battery Storage Solutions (RBSS) is a specialist electrical contractor providing design and installation services for sustainable energy storage systems.

RBSS had recently partnered with Brisbane-based Redflow as an approved installer of their zinc-bromine flow battery technology. The next generation Redflow ZCell and ZBM2 batteries are fully scalable from a single battery installation through to large grid-scale deployments.

With Government backed solar feed-in tariffs set to disappear in the near future and West Australians increasingly seeking the benefits of new-generation batteries, RBSS saw it as an ideal time to enter the local market offering customised renewable battery storage solutions for new and existing clients.


With a relatively new product, RBSS approached Axiom Design Partners to “test the waters” with a soft-launch of their service and product.

The next-generation batteries are ideally suited to industrial and commercial size applications, therefore Axiom created a marketing strategy that focussed on building brand awareness to targeted sectors and educating the market about the technology.

A new website acts as a hub for content marketing with articles showcasing projects and products that are disseminated through their social and other media channels.


Since the launch in January 2020, RBSS has garnered considerable attention through Redflow’s own media channels, stock market chat forum, social media outlets and strong website traffic – all of which have generated significant interest, and more importantly, new business for RBSS.

In less than six months RBSS has commissioned 10 projects throughout WA and sees no slowing in the take-up of the new battery technology and has paved the way to fast-track new products.
