Times, they are a changing. We wanted to take this opportunity to let our valued clients and stakeholders know what Axiom Design Partners plans are around the COVID-19 virus.
We are monitoring (as is everybody) advice from the World Health Organisation and Australian authorities and will revise our own policies as required in this evolving situation.
From last Friday, we ceased all business travel and have encouraged staff to refrain from unnecessary personal travel. We are encouraging all external meetings to be held via tele/video conference wherever possible.
Axiom are in the fortunate position of being an early adopter of cloud based technology, and as we already have a number of contractors that have been working remotely for some years, we are well prepared for the transition to all staff working remotely should it be required.
We’ve already been using cloud based project management, accounting and file management software for several years and will leverage this experience to ensure we can continue to provide you with the level of service you require during this time.
The only exception to our cloud based connectivity is the office telephones. In the event of all staff being required to work remotely, we will forward the main office line to the mobile telephone of one of our Directors, who will be able to direct your call to the most appropriate person.
We understand that no matter what proactive measures are put in place across all of our businesses that there will be a disruption to productivity and the supply-chain nationally. We hope that the measures we have put in place help us adjust to the business landscape we find ourselves in, and ensure we are all well positioned to see it through and come out together on the other side.
