New recruit at Axiom.

By Latest News

A tad overdue (he’s been here nearly 4 months!), but we’d like to formally welcome and announce that Axiom has a new recruit in the form of graduate graphic designer Angus Daley.

Angus graduated from Central Institute of Technology in 2011 with an Advanced Diploma in Graphic Design. We’re sure Angus will bring a fresh perspective to every project he works on at Axiom and we are currently enjoying watching him come to grips with being thrust into the proverbial deep-end of a very busy start to 2012 at Axiom.

Welcome Angus!

Axiom kitted out with iPad 2’s!

By Latest News

You’d think with all the hype that surrounded their launch I would have remembered to blog about this sooner! I forgot to mention that we picked up our reserved iPad 2’s back at the start of April, oh and yeah, they’re awesome!

Now at almost every meeting we spend the first 10 minutes answering questions about it and showing it off to clients. How many people with another brand tablet pc can say that? Apple just own cool.

Go on, go and get yours here.

Axiom LEARN how to help.

By Latest News

In late January this year we were introduced to the inspirational Mandy Mason and the extraordinary work her and her team are doing with the LEARN Foundation for Autism.

L.E.A.R.N. is an independent provider of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) based therapy services for young children having an Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Mandy founded LEARN in 2008 after her daughter was diagnosed with autism in 2006.  Mandy became passionate about the use of the science of ABA therapy in the field of autism and has overseen the growth of LEARN from 20 children on opening the centre in 2008 to a capacity of close to 100 children today.

After our introduction we couldn’t help but want to offer our professional services in a pro bono capacity to the LEARN Foundation to help them build their profile, fundraise and secure corporate sponsorships so that they can continue to positively change the lives of even more children each year.

Welcome 2011.

By Latest News

Wow, well this year has certainly kicked off at the same cracking pace at which 2010 came to a close!

We had an unprecedentedly manic end to 2010, but fortunately managed to deliver upon all our promises and in the process continued to build upon relationships with our stable of existing clients.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been fortunate enough to secure several new business wins welcoming some notable new clients to Axiom. The Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority and Fremantle Prison have both opted to extend our contracts with them so we’re looking forward to continuing the relationship with these two iconic Perth tourism destinations. Our resource sector clients and property sector clients have also certainly ramped up their operations riding high on the Western Australian Mining Boom Version 2.0.

It looks like 2011 is going to be all about managing our growth whilst maintaining and delivering the quality outcomes for which we are renowned. What a great time to be in business!

Our sentence has been extended!

By Latest News

We were originally sentenced to serve out a two year term with Fremantle Prison but we’re delighted to announce that due to all our hard work on the chain gang the ‘guvna’ has extended our term by another year!

It seems that we’ve been model inmates and our integrated wayfinding signage system, comprehensive interpretive installations and publications brought them home not only a Western Australian Heritage Award but also helped to secure their World Heritage listing!

We’ve been told that the warden has still got plenty for us to do and is not that keen on giving us a sentence reprieve. We’re looking forward to finishing what we started and helping ensure that Fremantle Prison remains one of Western Australia’s premier tourism destinations.

Welcome Emerge Associates

We recently welcomed Emerge Associates as a new client. We’re looking forward to working closely with Chris, Jason and their team on a variety of branding, communications and marketing projects.

Emerge Associates is the result of the merging of McNally Newton Landscape Architects (MNLA) and the experienced environmental consultancy services led by Jason Hick.

Emerge Associates now offers either discipline individually or offers both disciplines as an integrated service. With our existing specialist capabilities in landscape architecture and an established range of environmental consulting services, Emerge Associates closes the gap between science, design and delivery.

Our iPhone 4’s arrived!

By Latest News

Well, we’re super duper excited – our new iPhone 4’s arrived first thing Monday morning and we’ve not been able to put them down since. So far, so good, don’t believe the hype that happened in the US, the network that users in the US have to use (AT&T) is obviously just crap compared to ours – well maybe if you are with 3 or Optus you may be having some issues…

Welcome City of Fremantle

By Latest News

We are pleased to be able to officially welcome the City of Fremantle to Axiom.

We’re looking forward to working closely with Fremantle City officers over the coming months. Unfortunately we cannot reveal just what we will be doing for them as yet, but rest assured it will be the start of something truly historic.

For our international visitors;
Fremantle was established in 1829 as a port for the fledgling Swan River Colony and was the major city in Western Australia for much of its early history. It was the first port of call in Australia for many migrants and visitors and today Fremantle sustains a rich mixture of cultures and nationalities. Fremantle is Western Australia’s major commercial port and handles the majority of the State’s imports and exports. Fremantle boasts the best preserved example of a 19th century port streetscape in the world with its world-famous heritage buildings and a fascinating maritime and convict history.

Axiom re-brand Axiom.

By Latest News

You may have noticed we look a little different today. Yes, we’ve rebranded.

Our previous identity had served us well for the last 4 or 5 years, but we felt it was time to update our brand to be more reflective of our culture and of the organism we have become. We’ve opted for a simple wordmark, bold but not brash, strong yet approachable, purposely confident, credible and timeless.

Our web site is also going to get a major overhaul shortly. The blog will be kept but will no longer be the main focus of our web presence. Instead we’re developing an image-driven front-end that will feature a selection of our most recent projects for your viewing pleasure (yes, we’re finally going to have a portfolio on our website!)
