Black Swan

Black Swan Event Financial Planning is an independent, boutique financial planning firm who provide personalised, individual financial guidance to assist clients in achieving their financial objectives.

The boutique financial services/planning sector is a highly competitive and emotively driven sector, therefore the brand created should position and reflect Black Swan Event Financial Planning as a credible, knowledgeable and trustworthy firm.

Our creative brief was to develop a new brand that was modern and unique - cutting through the barrage of stereo-typical financial-based imagery and branding. It needed to symbolise the core values of the firm, being - relationships and transparency.

The solution was to create a strong, simple symbol with a classic typographic word-mark. The logo is obviously a black swan, however the logo has been subtly crafted to have several meanings – the wings representative of a multi-tiered investment strategy, a fan of bank notes, the neck is shaped similarly to a dollar ($) symbol.
