For over a decade, Ark Maintenance has been a preferred provider of services to many of Australia’s largest mine operators.

Axiom were called upon to conduct an extensive brand review with key stakeholders that covered all facets of Ark’s brand including their market position, values and key touchpoints.

The resultant brand brief saw Axiom re-brand and reposition Ark as a specialist optimisation and maintenance services company with a particular focus on fixed and rotating machinery of structural, mechanical and piping infrastructure assets.

The new Ark identity is an evolution of the old logo with further inspiration taken from an ore reclaimer bucket with the resulting symbol also creating an abstract shape of Australia.

The bold, customised logotype focuses the attention on the company name – ARK – with the letterforms cleverly combined with the new symbol to create a strong, integrated and instantly recognisable identity that sets a new benchmark within the industry sector.
