Axiom LEARN how to help.

April 5th, 2011

In late January this year we were introduced to the inspirational Mandy Mason and the extraordinary work her and her team are doing with the LEARN Foundation for Autism.

L.E.A.R.N. is an independent provider of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) based therapy services for young children having an Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Mandy founded LEARN in 2008 after her daughter was diagnosed with autism in 2006.  Mandy became passionate about the use of the science of ABA therapy in the field of autism and has overseen the growth of LEARN from 20 children on opening the centre in 2008 to a capacity of close to 100 children today.

Welcome 2011.

February 24th, 2011

Wow, well this year has certainly kicked off at the same cracking pace at which 2010 came to a close!

We had an unprecedentedly manic end to 2010, but fortunately managed to deliver upon all our promises and in the process continued to build upon relationships with our stable of existing clients.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been fortunate enough to secure several new business wins welcoming some notable new clients to Axiom. The Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority and Fremantle Prison have both opted to extend our contracts with them so we’re looking forward to continuing the relationship with these two iconic Perth tourism destinations. Our resource sector clients and property sector clients have also certainly ramped up their operations riding high on the Western Australian Mining Boom Version 2.0.

It looks like 2011 is going to be all about managing our growth whilst maintaining and delivering the quality outcomes for which we are renowned. What a great time to be in business!

Our sentence has been extended!

February 23rd, 2011

We were originally sentenced to serve out a two year term with Fremantle Prison but we’re delighted to announce that due to all our hard work on the chain gang the ‘guvna’ has extended our term by another year!

It seems that we’ve been model inmates and our integrated wayfinding signage system, comprehensive interpretive installations and publications brought them home not only a Western Australian Heritage Award but also helped to secure their World Heritage listing!

We’ve been told that the warden has still got plenty for us to do and is not that keen on giving us a sentence reprieve. We’re looking forward to finishing what we started and helping ensure that Fremantle Prison remains one of Western Australia’s premier tourism destinations.

Welcome Emerge Associates

January 20th, 2011

We recently welcomed Emerge Associates as a new client. We’re looking forward to working closely with Chris, Jason and their team on a variety of branding, communications and marketing projects.

Emerge Associates is the result of the merging of McNally Newton Landscape Architects (MNLA) and the experienced environmental consultancy services led by Jason Hick.

Emerge Associates now offers either discipline individually or offers both disciplines as an integrated service. With our existing specialist capabilities in landscape architecture and an established range of environmental consulting services, Emerge Associates closes the gap between science, design and delivery.

Welcome City of Fremantle

May 17th, 2010

We are pleased to be able to officially welcome the City of Fremantle to Axiom.

We’re looking forward to working closely with Fremantle City officers over the coming months. Unfortunately we cannot reveal just what we will be doing for them as yet, but rest assured it will be the start of something truly historic.

For our international visitors;
Fremantle was established in 1829 as a port for the fledgling Swan River Colony and was the major city in Western Australia for much of its early history. It was the first port of call in Australia for many migrants and visitors and today Fremantle sustains a rich mixture of cultures and nationalities. Fremantle is Western Australia’s major commercial port and handles the majority of the State’s imports and exports. Fremantle boasts the best preserved example of a 19th century port streetscape in the world with its world-famous heritage buildings and a fascinating maritime and convict history.

We recently welcomed Rio Tinto as a new client. We’re pleased to be partnering with their Asset Management Division, initially to assist in the development of training materials for use both in Australia and internationally. It’s an exciting opportunity to be working with one of Australia’s most successful and well known brands.

INGAL EPS to undergo a Mini-Makeover

May 25th, 2009

We are all aware that brands can be likened to a person. And from time-to-time those brands, like people can need a spot of freshening up. We’ve been managing the INGAL EPS brand for over 12 years, the core elements of the identity are solid, timeless and maintain high brand recognition. However it was time for a bit of a mini-makeover to ensure the brand architecture remained current and relevant.

We’ve been tasked with delivering three major projects slated for completion by the end of June 2009.

Go directly to gaol, do not pass go!

September 8th, 2008

The Fremantle Prison is one of Western Australia’s premier heritage sites, centrally located in the heart of the port city of Fremantle. The Prison was built by convicts in the 1850s and was closed as a place of incarceration in 1991 after 136 years of continuous use. It was opened to the public in 1992 as a tourist site and in recognition of its heritage value.

Axiom Design Partners will be serving out a 2-year term with Fremantle Prison, charged with being the most suitably qualified design firm to develop an integrated wayfinding signage system and comprehensive interpretive graphics installations at this heritage listed site, in preparation for possible World Heritage listing in 2010.
